Let’s be honest, there is no “us” for now. There is just me. My name is Anna, and on Christmas Day 2024, I felt an urge to create a space where people could find and share information about help. Whether it’s for themselves, if they need support, or for others, if they can share their time, skills, resources, or money.
This is the place I dreamed of bringing to life for many years.
The Vision
I believe in the power of community and kindness. In a world where it’s easy to feel isolated, I wanted to build a hub where anyone can say “hello” and discover the many ways we can connect, support, and uplift each other. This isn’t just about addressing needs – it’s about fostering hope and creating opportunities to make a difference, big or small.
Here at Hello.org.uk, my vision is to:
- Help people find organizations that provide crucial support for those in need.
- Offer a platform where volunteers can discover meaningful opportunities to give back.
- Share practical advice and resources to make everyday life easier.
The Dream
Though this project starts with me, my hope is that it grows into something far greater – a vibrant, supportive community where everyone has a role to play. Together, we can create a space that’s as much about giving as it is about receiving, and where saying “hello” can be the start of something truly impactful.

I want to be upfront: this is a non-profit initiative, and I don’t have any budget to pay for help or collaboration. I’m covering the costs of the domain and hosting out of my own household budget.
